Oakhill, previously known as Alison House Hotel, is a historic Georgian-style house set in extensive landscaped gardens in Cromford.  This beautiful property has been sympathetically refurbished and restored and given the love and attention it deserves. 

Oakhill was its original name when built by the Arkwright family in the 19^th Century, it offers a luxurious yet relaxed venue to dine, drink and stay.  With a new Head Chef and an exciting new menu, our stylish bar and restaurant which is also open to non-residents, is the perfect place to relax over a leisurely meal or celebrate a special occasion with friends and family.

During Phase 1 of restoration, Suites, bar, restaurant, sitting areas and outside spaces including the extensive gardens have been hugely improved. Follow this page to keep up to date with future plans.
